Hooray for Moby!

After weeks of searching for a wrap I like, I finally broke down and ordered one online. I went with the Moby Wrap because I needed something that would distribute Oscar's weight onto both shoulders. Well, I thought it wouldn't come until next week and tonight with a knock at my door it was here! I immediately put it on and pulled Oscar from his swing and he loves it! He's been sound asleep for over an hour. I wish I had bought it sooner. But no worries, we have it now. Yay!

Oscar is 1 month old!

Oh how my baby is growing! We have had a great visit with Jerry's mom and Oscar is just showing off everyday! I swear he feels bigger each time I pick him up. I can't believe it's been a month since he made is grand entrance! It's been really fun, and really hard and sometimes painful, but totally worth it.

He still keeps his legs drawn up to his belly most of the time but we have some moments of stretching. It's those times that I can't believe how long he is! Here he is on the couch doing tummy time with Krusty :-)

A Saturday on the town!

Oscar's Mimi is in town this week (Jerry's mom) and we went out to lunch today at the Raleigh Times. We decided since we were actually leaving the house, Oscar could wear real clothes! The hat and shoes didn't make it out the door, but we managed to get pictures at least! We are having a great time.




He has had a cold this week but I think he is finally on the upswing. Lots of eating and sleeping going on at the Updyke Ranch. Last night Jerry and I left Oscar with Mimi and went to a party at Taylor and Claire's. It was such a nice time! We missed the baby but knew he was in great hands so we were able to relax and enjoy the evening. Tonight we are going to dinner and a movie! Hooray for grandparents! Oscar is so blessed to have so many people to love him :-)
