Jcrew you minx!

As I posted yesterday, I found a completely adorable dress for our rehearsal dinner on sale at jcrew.com. Only, when I tried to buy it, the site said it was sold out. Well, today I thought, hey it worked with the wedding dress, maybe there will be one there now. So, at 7:44am I went back to the sale page and there it was, on sale, in my size and ready to ship! I ordered it and should have it in 4-7 days!

I decided that what drew me to the Anthropologie dress was the straight skirt. It just really had that retro feel. So, even though the colors are different, I think this will be just right. So that being said, here is my dress!



I can cross something else off the list. Yay!.....We'll talk about the shoes later :-)

Cake Cake Cake

Well we finally came to a decision on cake...well, sort of. We at least came to a decision on a cake vendor. We are going with Queen Anne's Confections locally and we couldn't be more delighted! Well, I suppose we could if it were free....but I digress.

We had our tasting on Sunday and it was delicious! We decided to forgo the coconut, but I am very pleased with our replacement choice. I'm not gonna tell, I need to leave SOMETHING to the imagination! I will say, that it was great on Sunday...and Sunday night and again on Monday!

Overall, I am really excited and happy with our choice. I can't wait to eat it! (Again!!)

Dang-it Diane!!

I am still on the hunt for a rehearsal dinner dress and I ALMOST just had it. I found an adorable dress on j crew and when I clicked "add to cart" it was all of a sudden sold out! Arrgh!! So I decided to try my hand at Nordstrom.

Well, THAT was a mistake! Not only are almost all of the dresses over my budget, they are adorable!! Insult to injury I tell you! Here are 2 of my favorites, thanks to Diane von Furstenberg:




So many options! So little money! :-) I know I will find something eventually. The first step is to stop looking in the designer section..hehe.
