My wheels are turning....

I am so looking forward to getting the nursery all in order. This is true for several reasons. The first being that I have been nesting since I was old enough to know roygbiv so nothing new there. Secondly, the room is currently the "office" and was never really finished because we knew it would be changing so it has been driving me crazy. It's sort of the catch all room for things we don't really want or love, but still aren't ready to part with. SO, over the coming weeks the big merge will be happening. MY beloved guest room will now be guest/music/office room and we are going to have to get creative to keep the relaxing feel of the room. I am determined to keep the bed as is, but we'll see.

And of course the nursery! What little girl doesn't dream of having her very own baby and baby things? I am a princess ok? I love dress up. This is where I hope for the sake of our child that it's a girl. My poor cat faced enough trauma being put in doll dresses even though he was a boy. I promise though, if we have a boy, he will get a real dress.

only a couple weeks until the half way point. That is mind blowing! Next week will be great. It's not only our Anniversary on Monday, but we find out the gender on Tuesday and leave for NY on Wednesday! Definitely looking forward to that! For those in or near the city, we'll be available Thursday, Friday or Saturday (28-30th) lunch or dinner if you want to hang out! Let me know!

In other news, it has been Olympics central at our house. For over a week, the nightly routine is Jerry, Krusty and I sitting on the couch lamenting the fact that volleyball is on AGAIN...and enjoying every minute :-)

You know the "nesting" and "creating" was the funnest (is that a word) part of the pregnancy thing for me. I loved creating a space for the baby and getting all organized. YEA..have fun!

Great post...you actually inspired me to write a post I have been saving. I am getting ready for our first baby to arrive in 5 weeks and the nursery was one of our favorite things to do. Check out my post and pictures. And, Congrats on the upcoming addition to your family.
