OH my Thrifty Goodness!

I have been in a mad shopping mood this week. And while that sounds like fun, we are on a budget so actually walking out with much is usually not gonna happen. Well, this week I decided to improvise and BOY did I luck out!

Yesterday I went to 2 stores. Between them I found a skirt and some shoes for $8.60 total and at the other I walked out with a brand new (in package) set of curtains for $8 !! Look you don't know how long I have been scrounging for curtains I love. And I have to tell you, I LOVE these curtains!!

Which brings us to today. I went to target in search of a table cloth because I didn't find that in my travels and on the way home I decided to look at one more thrift store. Well, I walked in and immediately in my face was this awesome tulip table!! FOR TEN DOLLARS.


Jerry and I really love this style and after regaining consciousness when we looked at the price tag on one in Cherry Modern, we decided it wasn't meant to be. SO, you can imagine my delight when I saw this! Reproduction or not (which I have no idea), I am so excited! It needs a little tlc but if you have been reading this blog for oh 1 second, you know I love getting my hands dirty! I just need a plan of attack. The table top has been spray painted so I need to figure out a way to sand it or re-prime it to get the streaks out. The base is metal and there are no dents, but it needs new paint as well. Hooray! A new project!
