Did Romney Just Hand the Nomination to Huckabee?
This New York Times article tells that Mitt Romney has just "suspended" his Presidential campaign. He also sings the praises of McCain and his Foreign Affairs experience as well as his hard line on Iraq and Terrorism.
However, more people split the vote between Romney and Huckabee than those who voted for McCain thus far in the Primaries. So, while many pundits are speculating that Romney just handed the nomination to McCain, I am thinking not so fast.
McCain is definitely more of a National Figure and has more money as the article states. But Huckabee could surprise us again. So far his ideas are catching on. Abolish the IRS and institute a 23% sales tax? That just sounds crazy enough to work!
I've said it before, I don't think he is going away. So here's what I propose. Read up on Huckabee. The NC primaries might just make a difference after all.

Obama 2008
saw you post on wedding bee... but just read your thing about Huck, I'm a huge Huck supporter, voted for him last week actually, very interesting random facts about him. i think he's a neat guy and a real character the way he slips his subtle humor into his public speeches. it should be interesting to see what he does b/t now and the convention (provided, and i hope he makes it that long).
thanks for not writing him off, as many seem to be doing!
