RENTAL CAR POLL

Jerry and I have been planning on renting a convertible all along for our honeymoon. And while the rates are good, the "one way" fee just about TRIPLES the price. Since we are driving from San Francisco to Seattle, there is a cute little drop charge that is obscene.


We have checked everything we can think of. All the discount websites, the companies directly, AAA.com and on the phone, USAA. The absolute cheapest is still about $250 more than a regular car.

So the question is, do we go for it? Or is that just crazy?
