Monday morning
This morning I got up early, made the bed, got completely dressed in my running clothes, ipod earbuds in place, and walked to the front door. It was only THEN that I realized it is was pouring down rain. So, I made coffee and came to work. Hopefully it will stop by this afternoon. This Christmas fat ain't going anywhere on its own!!
In other news, Jerry and I worked on the yard on Saturday. I think it looks 100% better. We raked and made bundles of sticks and pruned the bushes. I also found a little trash stockpile on the side of the house complete with a stash of half-empty capri-suns and a dirty diaper. Needless to say, it looks MUCH better without it.
I have been in a funk for a few days. It's annoying. I was really hoping to start the day off with some much needed endorphins. Oh well, maybe it will make a better end to the day. We'll see. At least I got to work early so I won't have to stay as late. Yay!!
Also, I broke down and watched Desperate Housewives last night. It was ok, but what I found was the show Brothers and Sisters, which came on after, and I really liked it. Who knows, maybe I will have a new "show". Sundays seem to be the best night for it, so we'll see.
